We first worked with Nan in 2014 when we renovated a house on the lake. We enjoyed working with her so much that we decided to ask her to help us again when we started to build a lake house from the ground up. Nan has been a wealth of knowledge:  from tiles, countertops, cabinets, light fixtures, stone, paint colors, etc. to helping us decide how to use the space in each room efficiently. Basically, she has helped us with every single decision we have had to make! She stays up to date with the latest trends in design and always has creative and unique ideas to present. Nan is also extremely organized and excellent at troubleshooting.  We love Nan’s energy and positivity, and it is a joy to work with her. Paul and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

When we designed the house, we chose to build a dogtrot style house. Our thinking was that the design itself would be the "wow" factor and for the furniture and accessories to be more simple and to reinforce our vision rather than define our vision. Nan got it and was able to help us accomplish our vision. The house design is the impact statement and everything else compliments the design rather than competing for attention. Reminds me of bluegrass music where the instruments so often are a reflection of the words of the song.

Nan is an excellent resource for all homebuilding, remodeling, designing or decorating needs. She knows who to hire and who not to! I got to know Nan first when we needed help to improve and maximize our porch space at our Russell Cabin. Now we are remodeling a home in Trillium and she has been in charge of not only the contractors (who she all knows well and who work very hard for her) but also the interior and exterior design. Nan really listens to her clients wishes for their home-how they live; what they prefer; and what they’re passionate about. She incorporates these into the home in an insightful way. Nan stays on top of the details of picking out materials with you and keeping the contractors on schedule with installations. It has been a relief to have Nan overseeing this since we live in Birmingham. Nan has an upbeat, infectious positive energy to be around…I will be sad when this project is over because it’s been so much fun working with her. What a gift it has been to have Nan involved in the interior design and development of our new lake house. We have worked with Nan over the past year as we built our TreeTop house on Paddock Point.
